Head of Human Resources

Mel is Head of Human Resources at Senex Energy, leading the team responsible for the people strategy.

Mel is a globally experienced commercial HR leader with over 20 years’ experience across a range of industries including Oil and Gas, Mining, and Technology.

Before joining Senex, Mel was Global Head of Human Resources at Peninsula Petroleum Group in London, where she built and ran the HR team across Europe, Asia, UK and the Americas.

Mel has also consulted on major resource projects, including designing the HR and industrial relations framework for the Glencore Aurukun Bauxite Project in Queensland. Earlier in her career, Mel held senior leadership roles at Rio Tinto across business partnering, shared services and change management.

Mel has extensive expertise in organisational transformation, HR systems implementation and building people strategies that support commercial growth.
