Resource activity: Site specific petroleum activity

It is advised that Stuart Petroleum Cooper Basin Gas Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Senex Energy Pty Ltd (Senex), has lodged an application for a major amendment to an environmental authority in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The environmental authority being amended is EPPG00651513.

The application relates to petroleum gas activities within Senex’s Roma North gas field located between 20km and 55km north-northeast of Roma, Queensland, within Petroleum Leases (PL) 1022, 1023 and 1024.

The EA amendment application involves updating approval conditions to allow revised impacts to Category B and C environmentally sensitive areas and prescribed environmental matters, to enable the continued development of approved coal seam gas wells and associated infrastructure. The application does not seek to increase the number of currently approved wells.
